Ucluelet is one of Vancouver Island’s top salmon fishing destinations. The surrounding waters of ucluelet offer a wide range of fishing locations inshore and offshore. The summer season is prime time for Chinook (King) and Coho (Silvers) fishing. Large runs of Chinook and Coho migrate through the offshore and inshore waters of ucluelet. Feeding on the vast amounts of herring, pilchard, needlefish, krill and squid. Ucluelet has the most consistent and reliable fishing on the B.C.
